Flip, an eight-year-old boy living in the late 1960s, knows just what to do with his birthday dollar. It's his perfect opportunity to finally get one of those wonderful-sounding novelties that he's seen advertised in the back of his favorite comic book. But with so many choices (x-ray specs, rubber masks, the ""U-control"" monster), he'll have to summon his own wild imagination to fully explore all the possibilities.
