Overview

Denmark's richest girl became an equestrian, photographer, war hero, society girl and 1.87 m tall. "The Giraffe" loves men, tolerates women and admires Dame Edna. In Per Wennick's documentary film, the baroness with the deep voice, 84-year-old Varvara Heyd née Hasselbalch, tells about her colorful life, growing up, work during the war, marriages, snobbery and the fortune that dwindled.
