Two roommates are cast as the leads in a student film about young gay love. Between rehearsals, filming and everyday life, they begin living like the story’s “heroes.” At first it feels safe. They're just acting. But repetition makes intimacy routine and the line between performance and real life begins to blur. When the shoot ends, the roles don’t disappear. They follow them home.
