Overview

Muhsin Çelebi, wearing the "pink pearl kaftan" he had purchased with his own fortune for the sake of his country, stood before the Safavid Shah Ismail as a proud diplomatic envoy and carried out the gesture he had proudly conceived to deliver the decree he had sent with dignity, neither kneeling nor bowing his head.
