Overview
Sandy Comes Home is a bittersweet, unsettling elegy: the ghost of a suburban everyman narrates his own erasure and the transformation of his world. Through humour slowly turning to cruelty masked in civility, Humphries delivers a sharp satire of complacency, cultural displacement, and the quiet racism lurking in polite society.
