Overview

A collision course had been plotted between the two giants of the college football landscape all season long during the fall of 1971. Bob Devaney's Big Red came to The Game with a stout defense and electrifying offensive performers. Chuck Fairbanks' Big Red of the south had been running through opponents, burying them in an avalanche of scoring. The media hashed over every aspect of the matchup for weeks prior to the epic Thanksgiving day contest. It was up to the 18, 19, and 20 year old players to put on a show worthy of the hype. And they did! Don't miss your chance to relive the Game of The Century with the classic commentary of ol' "man, woman and child" himself, Lyell Bremser!
