The Baby's First Outing

Overview

“Above all, be very careful, Nanny, don’t leave the sunshine and watch out for the cars!” “Yes, Madam, Madam can rest easy.” And Nanny sets off happily, nose to the wind, gazing at the shops with the wonder of a maid fresh off the train from the provinces… And wouldn’t you know it, in a split second of inattention, a crate of flowers falling from the first floor overturns the little car… and the child tumbles ten paces down the road… mercy!"
