Overview

The story of Kıymet Hanım, who married Numan Bey, an old Istanbul gentleman and retired long-distance captain. The elderly former captain, Numan Bey, who sought happiness in a retirement home after his retirement, finally decides to get married. He writes a letter to the Gönül Postası column of a newspaper. Although a much younger woman comes into his life, Numan Bey falls in love with his neighbor, Kıymet Hanım. The two old Istanbul lovers decide to marry. However, Numan Bey's daughter and son-in-law oppose the marriage. But they overcome all obstacles and succeed in building a new home in the autumn of their lives.
