Overview

Director Saxilds believes that his son, Gunnar (played by Carlo Wieth), is a splendid young man who stays away from women and temptations, but Saxild is surprised one day when he finds his son in the company of women. Gunnar is then employed in his father's office, where he meets the young girl Tove (played by Clara Wieth). The two initially develop innocent feelings for each other, but one day Gunnar seeks out Tove while he is drunk. She rejects him and he ends up in a seedy pub, where he gets into a fight with other drunks and ends up in the police station. When his father hears about it, he slaps him. But Tove takes care of Gunnar, comforts him, and Gunnar applies for the rescue corps.
